Fiestas de Santa Fe

The Fiestas de Santa Fe features the burning of the Zozobra, a 40-foot tall effigy representing Old Man Gloom. The belief is that once the Zozobra is burned, all problems are purged for a year. The all-night fiesta also features street and fire dancing.
